The school also has a boarding house for orphans and homeless students.  Funding is often a struggle as it relies heavity on a number of small donors.

After finishing primary education at Hsa Mu Htaw, the students can Hsa Thoo Lei MLC for middle and higher education with the recommendation from the school.

Without Hsa Mu Htaw in the region, the children will not be able to pursue education and would lose their hopes for a brighter future and possibilities for advancement. They risk ending up as child labor in work places and as victims of child trafficking and also of drug traffickers and abusers, etc.  Hsa Mu Htaw is a school that offers a warm and safe place in which its students can learn – and live if necessary.
